2025 Regional Finals
Team Arion is a Professional Class STEM Racing team from Singapore International School (Hong Kong), founded in March 2025 with a simple but ambitious philosophy: engineer with intent, execute with precision, and present with absolute consistency. Built around an engineering-first mindset and a distinct design identity, Team Arion combines technical rigour with a refined, minimalist brand presence that sets the team apart in Hong Kong’s STEM Racing landscape.
Our values: Excellence, Reliability, Precision, Innovation, and Consistency shape every decision we make, from CAD modelling and CFD iterations to manufacturing workflows and visual design. Team Arion’s approach places equal weight on technical performance and brand coherence, creating a team culture that is both deeply disciplined and unmistakably modern. This is the foundation of what we call The Purple Standard.

Team Arion began in March 2025, founded by Mark, Nithit, Jeff, and Chloe. The team’s journey accelerated quickly, with the first CAD prototype completed just two months later in May 2025—an early milestone that defined Team Arion’s engineering-driven approach.
In August 2025, Arion entered its first official competition: the Hong Kong STEM Racing Development Class. The team delivered a strong technical performance, earning two major achievements:

This early success solidified Team Arion’s identity and set expectations for future seasons.
Following the competition, Team Arion expanded by integrating team Bauhinia Shift, another team from SISHK. Their members seamlessly joined the Team Arion workflow and culture, strengthening the team’s capabilities for the transition into the Professional Class.
Over time, Team Arion established a distinctive engineering and design methodology: tight tolerance standards, advanced manufacturing techniques (including vapour smoothing and precision post-processing), and a visual language shaped by clean, high-polish, professional presentation. These elements quickly became hallmarks of the Arion identity.
Today, Team Arion stands as a unified, engineering-focused organisation committed to pushing the boundaries of miniature vehicle design while maintaining a consistent and elevated brand presence. The team continues to refine its technical workflows, expand outreach, and build a legacy grounded in precision, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence.
